Zillertal Alps Nature Park

Gentle, raw and natural

Nature park in the high mountains

Ancient glaciers, rugged peaks, soft grassy hills, mountain streams and enchanting mountain lakes await you. 30 years ago, part of the Zillertal mountains was declared a sanctuary. In 2001 it finally received the title: Zillertal Alps Nature Park. Spread over an incredible area of 379 square kilometres, nature has absolute priority here and draws hikers, nature-lovers and mountain climbers with its pure beauty and grand adventures in a legendary alpine world.

Hotel Kristall: nature conservation – for the love of our home

The four-star Hotel Kristall has been a member of the Zillertal Nature Park since 2012. As a partner establishment, we happily fulfil the high quality criteria of the Nature Park; after all, ecological and careful treatment of the beautiful nature in Tyrol and its priceless resources has always been a part of our family-run hotel’s philosophy and an issue close to our hearts.

Because we are a member of the Zillertal Nature Park, all guided hikes, Nature Park exhibitions, the Nature Park library and many other attractions are free for guests of the Hotel Kristall!
